Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Mariska Visscher and I am the founder of the 'Helpende Handen' practice. After a career of more than 11 years in the central laboratory administration, I unexpectedly ended up at home with a burnout. After a long period of rest, I tried to get back to work. But I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't do what I always did, or maybe I didn't want to anymore. This was the moment to start a quest for my true self. What do I want? What is important to me? What gives me energy and what drains my energy? By taking many courses, coaching sessions, and workshops, I discovered a lot about myself: that I am highly sensitive and can easily connect with others, that I like to help others and that I like to talk to people about their wishes, desires, and problems. To further explore myself, I started the training to become an energetic therapist. This form of therapy is aimed at releasing energy flow. Energy cannot be seen, but it is everywhere around us. You can feel it. In addition, I have experienced that the body is a key where a lot of information is stored, but often we don't listen to it. Massage is the oldest form of bodywork. To be able to help people even better, I also followed the training to become a holistic massage therapist. Tools that I can use to restore balance are, for example, holistic massage, Healing/Reiki, EFT and systemic work (family constellations). In 2015, I started my own 'Helpende Handen' practice in Laren (Gld.), the place where I live with my family. I want to help you find (or restore) your balance and gain insight into yourself by working together to find your blocks and heal old pain and emotions. By letting you experience and feel. By reminding you of what you already know from your own essence and gaining insight into who you are. So that you can move forward. Love, Mariska
